Beach Volley

Beach Volley

Beach volleyball is a team sport played on a beach or in a sandy area. Two teams generally consisting of two players each compete to hit a ball over a net and land it in the opponent's court, trying to score points. The teams are tasked with passing, lifting and smashing the ball using only three touches before getting it through the net.
Beach volleyball is known for its physically demanding nature and the strategy of the game, which requires agility, coordination and good stamina.

At present, beach volleyball is only offered on a self-managed basis. The Sport Service does not organise courses or group-led activities.
