Il Servizio sport propone una fantastica vacanza sportiva della durata (a scelta) da una a tre settimane nel Pelopponeso, in Grecia.
Gialova si trova nell’estremo sud ovest del Peloponneso, dispone di una baia chiusa ideale per l’insegnamento degli sport nautici. La natura invita a stupende passeggiate in ambienti suggestivi ed incontaminati, mentre per gli amanti della cultura sono possibili visite a siti archeologici.
Il nucleo di Gialova offre inoltre incantevoli e tipici ristoranti in un contesto semplice ma attraente.
Attività:
- Lezioni di kayak, SUP, windsurf e wingfoil per principianti/intermedi e di vela (soltanto principianti) condotte da istruttori e monitori del Servizio Sport
- Escursioni naturalistiche a piedi o in canoa nella tipica flora mediterranea
- Visite culturali a siti archeologici di grande interesse

Materiale: fornito direttamente sul posto. La base del Servizio sport dispone di tavole e vele per principianti e buoni windsurfisti, wingfoil, SUP e kayak.
Pernottamento: Presso il campeggio Erodios (direttamente sul mare). Tende, materassini e cuscini con fodere inclusi. È necessario portare una propria coperta o sacco a pelo.
Vitto: sono incluse tutte le colazione e 2 cene organizzate dal Servizio sport. Offriamo la possibilità di organizzare una cassa comune per i pranzi/ cene in gruppo.

Iscrizione e pagamento: presso l'ufficio del Servizio sport, pagamento con carte e contanti.
Lo sportello USI Sport si trova al Campus Est, Settore D ed é aperto tra le ore 09:00-12:00 e 14:00-17:30.

Inviando un'email a raffaello.burlon@usi.ch è possibile riservare anticipatamente uno o più posti. Il pagamento dovrà avvenire presso lo sportello USI sport entro 5 giorni dall'invio dell'email, in caso contrario la prenotazione verrà cancellata.
Requisiti per partecipare: saper nuotare in acque libere ed essere a proprio agio nella vita comune in campeggio.
Trasferta: la compagnia aerea Ryanair copre ogni lunedì mattina la tratta Bergamo-Kalamata e viceversa. Raccomandiamo di effettuare l'acquisto dei voli il prima possibile.

Il Servizio sport organizza il trasporto dall'aeroporto di Kalamata a Gialova con taxi interni Per il ritorno viene pure organizzato un trasporto tramite taxi (incluso nel prezzo).
Per la tratta Lugano -Bergamo il Servizio sport mette a disposizione 8 posti con il proprio furgone. Il costo è di 20 CHF per tratta.
Responsabilità e copertura assicurativa: Chiunque partecipi alle attività organizzate dal Servizio sport USI è tenuto a segnalare qualsiasi disfunzione fisica o assunzione di medicamenti. I responsabili delle singole discipline possono decidere di non accogliere alle attività le persone non idonee.
Per tutte le attività la copertura assicurativa è a carico dei singoli partecipanti.
Il Servizio sport USI non si assume nessuna responsabilità in caso di:
• Infortunio del/della partecipante
• Infortunio a terzi causato dal/dalla partecipante o dal materiale sportivo che utilizza
• Danni causati al materiale del Servizio Sport USI SUPSI e di terzi, dovuto ad un utilizzo non corretto dello stesso. L’utilizzo del materiale è consentito solo al partecipante.
Condizioni di rimborso in caso di cancellazione:
- Entro il 30 aprile 2023: rimborso del 80%
- Entro 31 maggio 2023: rimborso del 50%
- Successivamente: nessun rimborso

The Sports Service offers a fantastic sports holiday lasting from (a choice of) one to three weeks in the Peloponnese, Greece.
Gialova is located in the extreme southwest of the Peloponnese and has an enclosed bay that is ideal for teaching water sports. Nature invites for wonderful walks in beautiful and unspoiled surroundings while culture lovers can visit archaeological sites.
The center of Gialova also offers charming and typical restaurants in a simple but attractive setting.
Activities:
- Kayak, SUP, windsurfing and wing foil lessons for beginners/intermediates and sailing lessons (beginners only) led by instructors and monitors from the Sports Service
- Nature excursions on foot or by canoe in the typical Mediterranean flora
- Cultural visits to archaeological sites of great interest

Material: provided directly on site. The Sports Service base has boards and sails for beginners and good windsurfers, wing foil, SUP, and kayaks.
Overnight stay: At the Erodios campsite (directly by the sea). Tents, mattresses, and pillows with covers included. You must bring your own blanket or sleeping bag.
Food: breakfast and 2 dinners organized by the Sports Service are included. We offer the possibility of organizing a shared fund for group lunches/dinners.

Registration and payment: at the Sports Service office, payment with cards and cash.
The USI Sport desk is located at Campus East, Sector D and is open between 09:00-12:00 and 14:00-17:30.
- Students: registration open from 20.02.2023, possibility to reserve for 1 accompanying person (the accompanying person gets the same price)
- USI/SUPSI staff: registration open from 20.03.2023, possibility of reserving for 1 accompanying person (the accompanying person gets the same price)
By sending an email to raffaello.burlon@usi.ch it is possible to reserve one or more places in advance. Payment must be made at the USI sport front desk within 5 days of sending the email, otherwise, the reservation will be canceled.
Requirements for participation: know how to swim in open water and be comfortable in communal camping life.
Transfer: the airline Ryanair covers the route Bergamo-Kalamata and vice versa every Monday morning. We recommend purchasing flights as early as possible.
Depending on the period chosen, the flights to be purchased are as follows:
Outward bound Bergamo-Kalamata:

The Sports Service organizes transport from Kalamata Airport to Gialova by internal taxi For the return journey, transport by taxi is also organized (included in the price).
The Sports Service provides 8 seats in its van for the Lugano-Bergamo route. The cost is CHF 20 per route.
Liability and insurance cover: Anyone taking part in activities organized by the USI Sport Service is required to report any physical dysfunction or medication intake. The heads of the individual disciplines may decide not to admit unfit persons to the activities.
For all activities, insurance coverage is the responsibility of the individual participants.
The USI Sports Service accepts no liability in the event of:
• Accident of participant
• Injury to third parties caused by the participant or the sports equipment they use
• Damage caused to the material of the USI SUPSI Sport Service and of third parties, due to incorrect use of the same. Only the participant is permitted to use the material.
Refund conditions in case of cancellation:
- By 30 April 2023: 80% reimbursement
- By 31 May 2023: 50% reimbursement
- Subsequently: no reimbursement
