Functional Training

Functional Training uses an approach to training that focuses on preparing the body to deal with everyday activities efficiently and effectively. It is based on multi-joint, multi-plane movements that involve multiple muscle groups at the same time, similar to movements that are performed in everyday life. Functional exercises include pushes, pulls, squats, lifts and rotations, which aim to improve strength, stability, flexibility, coordination and balance.

The goal is to develop a balanced, functional and resilient body that can perform daily activities safely and with less risk of injury. The activity lasts 45 minutes and is conducted by the specialized instructors of the Sports Service who will adapt the exercises to the level of the participants.

Level
