Complete bio Marla Lurati

Marla Lurati is a dedicated, energetic line dance instructor active in Ticino’s social line dance scene since 2010. Teaching independently since 2014, she offers classes for all levels and has trained at national and international dance events. She has taught social Two Step and holds a Diploma Nazionale from AICOWED (Italian Country and Western Dance Association). 

As a classically trained violinist performing in local orchestras for over 20 years, she also brings strong musicality to her teaching. Marla has been invited to lead workshops at schools, community events, and private gatherings. She has also created numerous original dance performances with her groups, alone or in collaboration. Before focusing on dance, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in History, a master’s degree in Business Administration and taught public school mathematics in California.
