USI/SUPSI/Franklin Padel Tournament - 18 April 2026

Take part in the first friendly Padel tournament organised in collaboration between USI, SUPSI and Franklin College, scheduled for Saturday 18 April at GoAcademy in Agno! This first edition is open to all members of the university communities.

Registration is open to both collaborators and students. There is no minimum level required to participate, but participants must be familiar with the rules of the game.

When

Saturday, 18 April 2026, from 2 p.m. to approximately 7 p.m. Meet at 1.30 p.m.

Please arrive on time so that the tournament can start on schedule.

Equipment

It is mandatory to wear indoor shoes and sportswear. Bring a bottle of water (or isotonic drink) and a towel. Changing rooms with showers are available.

If you have your own racket, please bring it with you! Rackets will also be available for hire on site (included in the registration fee).

It is possible to register as a pair; in the case of individual registration, pairings will be organised on site before the start of the tournament.

There are currently 14 places available for the USI community (7 couples). Registrations will be accepted until all available places are filled. If you have any further requests, you can be placed on a waiting list by writing to: alessio.manfre@usi.ch.

The tournament does not involve any prior division into categories (men's, women's or mixed). If the number of teams registered is high, the organisers reserve the right to create categories directly on site when the draw is made.

By proceeding with the purchase, the user accepts the instructions and rules of conduct of the Sports Service, available in the "regulations" section.

Prizes

Small prizes will be awarded to the winners depending on the number of participants and categories.
Further information will be provided at the start of the tournament.
 

Terms and conditions of participation and refunds

Registration is open until Friday 10 April or until all places are filled. 

Refunds:

• 100% refund upon presentation of a medical certificate
• 80% refund within 2 weeks of the tournament
• 50% refund within 1 week of the tournament
• No refund less than one week before the tournament, as for non-attendance

To proceed with your refund request, please contact the Sport Service by email, indicating the event and the reason for cancellation. Refund conditions will be applied based on the date of the request.
