Aikido
Aikido is a form of the martial arts offered by the Sport Service, known for its non-violent approach to conflict resolution and its goal of harmonising mind-body with nature. Unlike many other martial arts that focus on physical strength and direct confrontations, Aikido is based on the ability to absorb and harness the attacker's energy to deflect it and neutralise the aggression.
The activity is conducted by a Ticino association with its own specialised monitors in cooperation with the Sport Service.
