HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training

 

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a training method characterized by short, intense bursts of exercise followed by periods of active or complete recovery. During a HIIT session, exercises such as sprints, jumps, and/or intense cardiovascular exercises are performed.

 

The main goal of HIIT training is to maximize caloric expenditure, improve cardiovascular endurance, and increase aerobic and anaerobic capacity. The activity is conducted by the specialized instructors of the Sports Service.

Level

The class is suitable for everyone. The instructor will propose viable alternatives at any level.

Equipment

It is mandatory to show up with indoor trainers and sportswear. Bring a bottle of water (or isotonic drink) and a towel.
Locker rooms with showers are available in the Sports Hall.

Partecipation

You can participate in classes by registering through the dedicated calendar. Reservations are reserved for “Classes & Games” subscription holders.
