Self Care – Wellness Programme
Self Care
Self Care is a programme exclusively for USI collaborators , offering physical and postural activities in small classes of up to eight participants. This format guarantees personalised support and greater effectiveness of the exercises proposed by the Sport Service's specialised instructors.
The programme helps restore balance, energy and good humour, promoting better posture, reducing stress and encouraging a more active lifestyle. It is designed for those who have sedentary jobs and want to incorporate movement into their daily routine. Sitting for long periods of time can cause muscle stiffness, tension and mental fatigue: through these activities, participants will be able to increase their strength, flexibility and mental and physical well-being, improving their concentration and energy levels throughout the day.
Following the excellent response to the autumn semester, we are delighted to offer two new courses:
- Winter programme from 19 January to 20 March 2026, including mini classes in Pancafit, Pilates, Yoga, Country Line Dance and Metabolic Training
- Spring programme from 30 March to 29 May 2026, also including outdoor activities to enjoy the benefits of the open air.
The programme is rounded off with various themed events, including four cross-country skiing weekends and a ‘Self Care Weekend’ in Airolo.
Winter cycle - from 19 January to 20 March 2026.
The mini classes consist of eight sessions, each lasting 45 minutes, and take place in the classes room of the East Campus Sports Hall.
